- Jadiid (jah-deed) is a band We live in Chicago. Jadiid is Kevin, Jake, and Matt and all they really wanted to hear was a great soul tune. “I’m not saying you can’t still hear the folk in it, the propensity to play loud rock n’ roll, a computer or two… but the more we play, the more we write, the more I sing, that groove is what I keep aiming for.” With Jadiid’s new album “It’s Ok, Be Anxious” the band has started on that path. These songs have a soul to them, a grasp on something they like to think may be a little bit of magic.
